Come join the Parade!!
Westshore Zumba is preparing their float for the Annual Victoria May Day Parade, the BIGGEST event that happens here in our amazing city! Victorias largest parade event has marching bands, floats, clowns, etc. Over 120,000 spectators watch this popular annual event in person and on television.
Come be part of this fun and exciting parde by dancing in the street to great Zumba hits. It doesn’ t matter if you know the choreography, you know how to follow and fake it till you make it 🙂 They are looking for a minimum of 20 people for the parade, it starts at 9 am and goes until 2pm. The order of the float is C40 so you need to arriave at 8:30 am sharp!
Float decorating is taking place on Saturday May 16th at 10 am. Come join them after Carolina’s classes to help decorate for a few hours. Please bring a staple gun and staples to fit it if you have one. Nancy and Celine have done two other floats with the building expertise of Zumba® Mike and we know that we will need a rotation of many people to complete the decorating. Please come and help even for a couple hours. There are a lot of balloons to blow up. The float will be stored and decorated across from Mayfair Mall on Nanaimo Street. Balloons will need to be blown up and tied we have a compressor to make the job easier. 🙂
